David O'Neal, MD

Dr. David O’Neal is a board-certified neurologist with Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, Alabama. He has cared for patients in Alabama since 1984, and his specialties include Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, epilepsy, seizures, migraines and chronic headaches. Dr. O’Neal earned a bachelor’s degree in applied biology at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed a neurology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he served as chief resident in his final year. His professional memberships include the American Heart Association Stroke Council and American Academy of Neurology.
