George Timothy Burson, MD

Dr. Tim Burson earned his medical degree and completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He concluded a one-year fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and served as Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Arkansas Children's Hospital for 4 ½ years. He has been board certified in neurosurgery since 2004. Since joining Baptist Health in 2004, he has served on multiple committees regarding professional practice and improving patient outcomes.
