Gerardo A. Gamez, MD

About

Dr. Gamez received his medical degree from University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery in the Philippines in 1980. He completed his medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Miriam Hospital, Brown University in 1986. He completed his neurology residency at Mount Sinai medical Center, New York in 1989. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida and began clinical practice in General Neurology since then. His major areas of interest are in Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders and Seizure disorders. Dr. Gamez has been an active member in the different committees and departments of all the local hospitals in Lee County.
