Joel R. Martin, MD

About

Dr. Joel Martin is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon at the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. He surgically treats diseases and injuries to the brain, spine and spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Dr. Martin earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University in New York and received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of California, San Diego and a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at the University of Miami. Dr. Martin is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
