Nakita Stephens, MD

Nakita Stephens, MD, is an experienced, Board-certified neurologist with AdventHealth Medical Group Neurology at Shawnee Mission. She provides treatment for all neurological conditions and has special training in the treatment of epilepsy. Before joining AdventHealth in 2019, Dr Stephens worked as a neurologist at Unity Point Clinic at Allen Hospital in Iowa. Dr Stephens earned her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, John Dempsey Hospital/Hartford Hospital, where she also completed her residency in neurology, including service as chief resident.
