David A. Sun, M.D., Ph.D., is executive medical director of Norton Neurosciences Institute. Spearheading interdisciplinary programs and collaboration, he also serves as co-director of the Brain Tumor Center and provides clinical leadership to the institute’s epilepsy and movement disorders programs. Dr. Sun is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, where he earned his medical degree and a doctorate in basic science mechanisms of epilepsy. He completed a neurosurgical residency and clinical fellowship in epilepsy and movement disorder neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
