Featured in the 2019 Top Doctors issue of SB Magazine, Dr. Brian Willis is an experienced and gifted general neurosurgeon at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport as well as current Professor of the LSU Health Shreveport Department of Neurosurgery and Chief of the Section of Neurosurgery at Overton-Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport. Dr. Willis also served as the Interim Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Shreveport from October 2017 until July 2019. Brian Willis, MD, FAANS, FACS specializes in general neurosurgery, including cranio-cerebral trauma, brain tumors, hydrocephalus, degenerative disease of the spine, and microsurgical techniques. He has had additional training in pediatric and stereotactic neurosurgery.
