Dr. John D. Reeves, MD

About

A native of Shreveport, Dr. Reeves earned his medical degree at LSU Medical School in New Orleans. He trained at Charity Hospital of New Orleans, Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Harvard Children's Hospital/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Following that he moved to Switzerland to work with the premier cerebrovascular and brain tumor neurosurgeon in the world. Returning to the US, Dr. Reeves practiced in Witchita Falls, Texas before returning to Shreveport. As a result of his broad training and experience, Dr. Reeves considers himself to be a careful and prudent physician and surgeon, applying his neurosurgical art when necessary, declining it when appropriate, or referring to other colleagues when the case demands.
