Pediatric neurologist Dr. Shannon McGuire began her educational journey in New Orleans where she earned a medical degree at Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine. She has spent 25+ years investing in her specialties which include Child Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and the treatment of children who suffer with the neurological disorder of Epilepsy. Dr. McGuire has dedicated her career to researching, publishing articles and passionately pursuing ways to combat epilepsy which at this time has no known cure. In addition, she has a special interest in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic evaluation and treatment of epilepsy.
