A board-certified neurologist, Dr. Thomas Privett earned a medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he later completed an internal medicine internship and a residency in neurology. He served as a neurologist with the US Air Force in Wichita Falls, Texas, and in private practice in Tennessee and South Carolina before joining Lourdes Physician Group. Dr. Privett is a diplomate for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Review Physicians. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Association for Physician Leadership, National Association of Physician Advisors and the Neurohospitalist Society.
