The medical director of neurology and stroke services at South Shore University Hospital (formerly Southside Hospital), Andrew D. Rogove, MD, PhD, DPN-N, leads a multidisciplinary team in providing top-tier care, including emergency technicians; neurosurgeons; neurointerventionalists; and physical, occupational and speech therapists. Coming to Northwell Health in 2017, Dr. Rogove helped build and shape South Shore s stroke program, which offers both advanced treatment and targeted prevention based on removing clots before strokes occur.
