Jan Drappatz, MD

Jan Drappatz, MD, is a neuro-oncologist and the associate director of the Adult Neuro-oncology program at UPMC. Dr. Drappatz specializes in the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors and neurologic complications of cancer. Dr. Drappatz is board-certified in neurology with subspecialty certification in neuro-oncology. He received a medical degree at the Johannes Gutenberg School of Medicine in Mainz, Germany. He completed a residency in neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and fellowship training in neuro-oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women's Cancer Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.
