Dr. Monica Naik obtained her medical degree from Seth G. S Medical College, Mumbai, India. She completed her pediatric residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her Child Neurology residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Currently, Dr Naik is Director of Neonatal Neurology and specializes in managing common as well as rare neurological disorders that affect newborns. She also provides expert antenatal consultation to mothers with fetuses affected with neurological disorders to help plan their pregnancy and postnatal care. She is part of the Neuro-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Initiative where she actively engages in improving clinical practices and protocols.
