Thandar Aung, MD, MS, is a neurologist certified in neurology and epilepsy with a subspecialty certification in clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an assistant professor of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the Institute of Medicine Burma. She completed a residency in epilepsy at Barrow Neurological Institute and a residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Chicago, followed by her fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
