Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: As a child I always admired members of the healthcare professions. I was drawn to their passion, knowledge, and dedication. I quickly realized how rewarding a career in medicine can be. And while healthcare has evolved tremendously from those early days of my career, the fundamentals of caring for patients remains the same. What I want my patients to know about me: One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is working with patients to uncover the cause of their symptoms. I enjoy the interaction that takes place during this process, particularly as we collaborate to develop an optimal treatment plan.
