Dr. Gregory Brandenberg was born and raised in Lexington, NE. He moved to South Dakota after having been a neurosurgeon in the Nebraska/Iowa region for 26 years. Dr. Brandenberg is a General Neurosurgeon who practices at the Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital in Rapid City. His passion for neurosurgery stemmed from a PBS special he watched in the 4th grade, highlighting neurosurgery and the mechanics involved. Everything from that moment has directed Dr. Brandenberg to where he is now. He is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, South Dakota Medical Society and the Iowa Medical Society.
