I believe if I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way. Because a neurological diagnosis can have a major impact on a person's life, I think it is important for patients to be involved in all aspects of their care. For me, this begins with listening and understanding their concerns and goals, and developing a plan with them that allows for the best quality of life possible.
