Bermans Iskandar, MD, is a UW Health Kids neurosurgeon and professor and chair of the Department ofPediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Iskandar provides care for children with neurological conditions affecting the brain, spine and nerves. He also provides ongoing care for children with congenital (present at birth) conditions as they grow into adulthood. He has a special clinical interest in pediatric congenital neurological diseases — specifically, hydrocephalus (fluid buildup in the brain), Chiari malformations (brain and skull structure issues) and spina bifida.
