Nathaniel Brooks, MD, is a UW Health neurosurgeon. He specializes in the care and surgical treatment of people with spine disorders, including herniated disks, tumors, spinal stenosis and scoliosis. As a spine specialist, Dr. Brooks performs advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and traditional open surgery. He uses the least invasive surgical method possible to treat his patients' spine issues safely and effectively. During office visits, Dr. Brooks makes diagnoses and listens to his patients' concerns when creating treatment plans. Dr. Brooks also serves as an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Neurological Surgery and conducts spinal cord research.
